Very sadly, the Divine Liturgy in English at 9-30 am on Sundays at the Holy Family Cathedral, Lower Church, have had to be put on hold. Until the practicalities we cannot use the Lower Church space. Hopefully this will be resolved very soon. Please keep checking in here for details.

Owing to public health guidance, masks should still be worn indoors and distance maintained. Sanitisers are available. Holy Communion is distributed in both kinds from the mixed and common chalice, by means of a separate Communion spoon for each individual communicant.

Pope Francis announces global prayer vigil for peace on Sept. 7 :: Catholic News Agency (CNA)

At the hour that members of the US Congress back President Obama to attack Syria, our Society unites itself with the Holy Father in prayer for peace, that God may protect the good people, Christian and Muslim and others, of Syria and that the Most Pure Mother of God may pray for their safety, for justice and for good to triumph.

Surely a military attack will make a terrible situation worse, rather than bring right to prevail. May the Prince of Peace vanquish all his enemies and may His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
