Very sadly, the Divine Liturgy in English at 9-30 am on Sundays at the Holy Family Cathedral, Lower Church, have had to be put on hold. Until the practicalities we cannot use the Lower Church space. Hopefully this will be resolved very soon. Please keep checking in here for details.

Owing to public health guidance, masks should still be worn indoors and distance maintained. Sanitisers are available. Holy Communion is distributed in both kinds from the mixed and common chalice, by means of a separate Communion spoon for each individual communicant.

"Condemning attacks on Christians is no longer enough" - Sammak: Islam is in a corner; let's move from words to acts

“Condemning the attacks on Christians” is no longer enough: “Islam is increasingly forced into the corner all over the world, it is in our interests that the governments of countries with Muslim majorities go from words to facts,” against violent extremism. As guest speaker invited by Sant'Egidio, Mohammed Sammak, one of the most authoritative representatives of the world of Sunni Islam, admits feeling that an “accusing finger is increasingly pointed at him” for his very name and his faith, whilst the massacres of Christians by Muslims increase in a number of countries, from Nigeria to Pakistan via the ferocious attacks in Egypt and Syria.
