RISU: President of UCU Kyr Borys (Gudziak) prays for Putin’s conversion
Vladimir Putin’s policy is formed by the KGB anti-epos, the biggest disaster of the twentieth century. The processes introduced by invaders will put an end to the ‘Red story’ of Ukraine. This opinion was expressed by UGCC Bishop Borys (Gudziak), President of the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) during the political talk show “In Plain Text. Blitz” on ZIK TV-channel.
The Bishop advises all Ukrainians to be above the evil that the Russian Federation had sown. “We need to be engaged in all processes currently under way in our country. Therefore, now all priests are trying to work on the internal means, so as we won’t become slaves,” said the bishop.
The UCU President says that every day he prays for Vladimir Putin’s conversion, because many lives of Ukrainians depend on it. “I wish only good to Russians,” said Bishop Borys.
By the way, on December 12, 2013 the UCU announced that for its students and teachers Yanukovych no longer existed as president, neither his government did. The university has always expressed a clear position of opposition to the then ruling regime. It caused many problems that time.
Bishop says that he is still inspired by Maidan: “It's a place where we came into the open, removed unnecessary masks and looked into the eyes of one another.”
Bishop Boris (Gudziak) thanked all the priests for the prayer in this difficult time, “I am proud of Ukraine and Ukrainians. Now we are going to Europe not as beggars with an outstretched hand, we just need solidarity. Moreover, we have something to share, because we have shown the mystery of our dignity”, reports Catholic Columnist with a reference to Bishop Borys.
