Very sadly, the Divine Liturgy in English at 9-30 am on Sundays at the Holy Family Cathedral, Lower Church, have had to be put on hold. Until the practicalities we cannot use the Lower Church space. Hopefully this will be resolved very soon. Please keep checking in here for details.

Owing to public health guidance, masks should still be worn indoors and distance maintained. Sanitisers are available. Holy Communion is distributed in both kinds from the mixed and common chalice, by means of a separate Communion spoon for each individual communicant.

Catholicos Aram I of Cilicia: Armenian Christian & Arab Islamic Civilisations in Dialogue

Antelias – 03 May 2014. On Sunday His Holiness Aram I will leave for Bahrain where he is invited to be the keynote speaker at the conference on “Dialogue of Civilizations” initiated by His Royal Highness King Hamad bin Al Khalifa.

The delegation will include, H.E. Archbishop Sebouh Sarkissian, Very Rev. Mesrob Sarkissian, the Pontifical representative for the United Arab Emirates, and Ms. Teny Pirri-Simonian, the Vice President of the Ecumenical Relations Committee, who will also present a paper.

Very Rev. Masis Choboyan, the Pontifical Representative of Kuwait and neighbouring countries, will join His Holiness for the meetings with the Armenian community in Bahrain.

At the end of May, Catholicos Aram I will visit the Vatican and meet with His Holiness Pope Francis I and the heads of different Ponitifical Institutions.
